  CGFM Library

Have you taken the CGFM exam recently?  Would you like to help others, and potentially receive a tax break?

The Seattle chapter is forming a CGFM library.  To start our library, we are asking for your donations of old CGFM-related materials.  Your donations may be deductible for tax purposes (please contact your tax preparer to ensure deductibility).  Additionally, we are asking for volunteers to mentor CGFM candidates.

How does it work?  You donate your usable CGFM materials to the chapter.  We will provide you with a receipt.  You will need to document your donation, based on IRS guidance.  These materials will then be loaned to CGFM candidates for use while studying for the exam.

Mentor Program

The Seattle Chapter is seeking to establish a mentor program for CGFM candidates.  If you are willing to mentor CGFM candidates, simply send your name and contact information to Randy Alley.  Randy will maintain a database of volunteers.  Candidates who request a mentor will be partnered with a volunteer mentor.  The mentor will provide general guidance and moral support to the candidate.

Study Groups

The Seattle Chapter is looking for CGFM candidates who are interested in forming a CGFM study group.  Preparing for the CGFM exam can prove challenging and it may be helpful to have a group of people who are sharing the same experience.  If you are a CGFM candidate and would be interested in becoming part of a study group, please contact Randy Alley.
