The AGA Seattle Chapter offers two
programs designed to provide relevant continuing professional education (CPE)
opportunities to its members. The
centerpiece of the program is our monthly
luncheon meetings which are
held the second or third Wednesday of every month from September through May. The luncheons provide a one
hour training session (1 CPE) focusing on accounting, auditing or tax subjects
as well as a great view of the Seattle waterfront from the Columbia Tower
Club in downtown Seattle. The cost is
$18 for members and
$25 for non-members.
In place of one of the spring luncheon meetings, the Chapter works in partnership
with the Washington
Society of CPAs (WSCPA) to co-sponsor an annual conference. The
conference generally provides 16 CPEs covering a variety of topics,
such as updates on accounting and auditing standards, including GASB, FASB, and
the GAO Yellowbook; technology, ethics, and writing.
Additionally, if you are interested in CPE sponsored by
neighboring chapters, visit our neighbors.
