Summary: |
A recent Washington State Auditor’s Office report
raised serious concerns about the Port of Seattle’s
procurement and contracting policies and has
prompted an investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s
Office. This report and the on-going Federal
investigation raise important questions:
- How has the Port of Seattle responded to these
findings?
- What role has the media played in exposing the
Port's actions?
- What changes are needed in governance,
contracting, or other areas?
