Since retiring from Federal service in June 2000, Tim has remained active in the government setting.  He is currently employed under contract in Sound Transit's Internal Audit department.  Immediately after his retirement, Tim worked as an auditor for the Washington State Bar Association.  While at the Bar Association, his primary duty was to perform reviews of client funds held in trust by attorneys.

While with the Federal Government for nearly 30 years, Tim worked as an auditor for the Department of Justice, Federal Aviation Administration, Civil Aeronautics Board, Department of Transportation and finally the Customs Service.

Tim joined the AGA before the organization changed its name from the less inclusive Federal Government Accountants Association.  Tim has served many positions on the Executive Board, including Treasurer for the current program year.

Tim has always enjoyed his work.  He spends his personal time with his wife and two daughters, performing first tier home and garden maintenance and is actively involved with his church.
